Tracy Krona hails from the beautiful State of Minnesota, “Land of 10,000 Lakes”, and currently resides on the Chisago Chain of Lakes. She fished leisurely as a child, but began actively fishing in high school, and has now been doing so 20 some-odd years.
She is an avid multi-specie’s angler, but loves targeting crappie and giant bluegills! When she’s not chasing pannies, she’s on the hunt for pike, smallmouth, walleye, and burbs. Oh…and she LOVE, LOVE, LOVE’S ice fishing! Tracy’s favorite fishing technique is jigging a minnow/plastic in a classic or controlled drift or back-troll. She also loves trolling Spoonplugs for big pike and casting cranks in the weeds for eyes and pike. Winter months she loves ice-trolling, jigging, and running flags. She is mostly a CPR angler.
Tracy is a member of Women Anglers of Minnesota (WAM), the National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA #1279), and is a founding member of MN-FISH. She has two Master Angler awards through the MN-DNR as well as three Master’s through WAM.
Normal daily life for Tracy consists of working in local government as an operations supervisor and data/records manager. Besides fishing, her hobbies are traveling, listening to all genre’s of music, fishing, photography, fishing, cycling, old cars & auto racing, fishing, antiquing, cooking, fishing, spending time with family and friends and… fishing!
